Hemisphere

This is my first highly polished piece. After creating the original design, I applied 3 coats of poly to achieve this finish.

Purpleheart separated by black veneer form the upper and lower portions, completed with a trim of Maple rings. The center sphere is comprised of 24 pieces of Ebony. This piece consists of 320 pieces standing 6" tall with a 9" diameter.
